VERBUND's main goals are long-term supply security, affordability, and diversification of green hydrogen in order to secure industrial locations and drive the climate transition. Therefore, we are initial supporter of the SouthH₂ Corridor.

OMV welcomes the SoutH₂ Corridor as a logistic option for Austria. OMV invests in green hydrogen projects, e.g. electrolysis plant in the OMV Schwechat Refinery. Green hydrogen could also be used for OMV´s production of sustainable aviation fuels.
